Good Afternoon Crafty Friends and Followers

Well what a dismal day today has turned out to be, I have been out this morning a quick visit to the doctors and it is raining, that awful fine rain that soaks you right through.

 I hope you have all had a fabulous time over Christmas and the New Year, I know I have.  Hubby is back at work today and I don't go back until next week.  So I am crafting for me while I am off.  I am hoping to do some altered art which is fairly new to me so will show you what I create when it is done.

Today's card is made using a combination of Lavinia stamps, Aly Craft stamps and the birds are from Visible Image.

A5 white base card

First layer is card from Core'dinations Black Magic which has been embossed using Die'sire Embossalicious Regal Swirl 8 x 8 embossing folder, I then distressed to show the core colour.

Second layer is gold mirri card.

The topper is matt-coated card which I have brayered using Adirondak ink pads in Mountain Rose and Butterscotch.  I then stamped the images using Black Stazon ink.

To finish off I added pearl gems around the corners of the base card and a black pearl gem to the centre of the spider's web.
